The ICF Series 15xD coolant through solid carbide drill is engineered for extreme deep hole machining, delivering true gun drill replacement performance in modern CNC machining centers.
With a drilling depth of 15xD, ultra-wide parabolic flutes, and high-pressure dual internal coolant channels, coolant is delivered directly to the cutting edge throughout the entire drilling cycle. This effectively controls heat, chip evacuation, and straightness — even in stainless steel, mold steel, and hard steel up to 55 HRC.
The reinforced shank geometry ensures hole straightness < 0.06mm at full depth. Combined with imported sub-micron carbide substrate and advanced AlCrN coating, the ICF 15xD achieves comparable tool life to traditional gun drills at approximately one-third of the cost.
This makes the ICF 15xD series an ideal solution for hydraulic valve blocks, deep mold cavities, aerospace long holes, and other high-value components where gun drilling was previously required.
