PRODUCT DETAILS
The NCP Series solid carbide double ended center drill bits are engineered for accurate center hole preparation on CNC lathes, mill-turn machines and multi-axis machining centers. Featuring a classic 60° double ended geometry, each tool effectively provides two usable cutting ends. When one end wears, the tool can be flipped to continue machining, significantly reducing tooling cost.
For aluminum, copper and other soft materials, the plain (uncoated) version is recommended to prevent coating delamination and material contamination. For steel, stainless steel and cast iron applications, the TiSiN coated version offers superior hardness, heat resistance and wear performance, achieving up to 20 times the service life of traditional HSS center drills.
Manufactured from imported sub-micron carbide, the NCP Series delivers sharp, self-centering cutting edges that ensure concentric, burr-free center holes. With a reinforced straight shank design, these tools provide excellent rigidity and clamping stability, making them a standard choice for shaft components, precision turning and tailstock centering operations.
✔ Double ended 60° design — one tool equals two, flip and continue machining
✔ Plain version for aluminum — clean center holes without coating contamination
✔ TiSiN coating for steel — high hardness and thermal stability
✔ Reinforced shank — stable tailstock and collet clamping
✔ Sub-micron carbide — sharp edges, long-lasting performance
✔ Ideal for CNC lathes, mill-turn and 5-axis machines
