The NCP Series solid carbide spot drill bits are designed for accurate CNC spotting prior to drilling or milling operations. Featuring a self-centering point geometry, they produce precise location points on flat, inclined or curved surfaces, effectively eliminating drill walk and positional deviation.
Three point angles are available to match different machining requirements: 90° as the most common option for general spotting and chamfering, 120° for lathe center preparation, and 60° for micro-hole guidance. Tool diameters range from 1 to 12 mm, covering most CNC machining needs.
For aluminum alloys such as 6061 and 7075, the DLC coating provides ultra-low friction and prevents built-up edge, resulting in clean, burr-free spots. For carbon steel, stainless steel and mold steel up to 55 HRC, the TiSiN coating offers high hardness, excellent heat resistance and extended tool life.
Manufactured from imported sub-micron carbide and combined with a same-diameter or reinforced shank design, the NCP Series delivers outstanding rigidity and minimal runout at high spindle speeds. It is widely used in mold making, aerospace components and automotive CNC machining.
