PRODUCT DETAILS
The NPTF Series Carbide Thread Mill is engineered for machining National Pipe Taper Fuel (NPTF) threads — also known as Dryseal threads — where metal-to-metal sealing is required without the use of sealants or tape.
Made from premium submicron grain carbide, this solid thread mill ensures tight tolerance, long tool life, and superior sealing performance in high-pressure hydraulic, fuel, and gas applications.
Compared with traditional pipe taps, NPTF thread mills provide greater precision, chip control, and reliability, especially in hard-to-machine materials or high-value components.
Accurate 1:16 Taper Geometry
Precisely ground to match the NPTF taper standard for leak-free thread engagement.
Dryseal Performance
Delivers full metal-to-metal sealing without the need for additional sealant — perfect for fuel, gas, and hydraulic systems.
High-Quality Carbide Material
Manufactured from ultra-fine grain carbide for exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and dimensional accuracy.
Optimized Cutting Edge Design
Minimizes vibration and cutting forces, ensuring stable machining and excellent surface finish.
Multi-Material Capability
Suitable for carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, brass, copper, and titanium.
Superior Chip Evacuation
Helical flute geometry allows smooth chip removal, reducing tool wear and preventing thread damage.
CNC-Compatible
Designed for use on CNC machining centers — supports both helical interpolation and multi-thread size machining with a single tool.
Hydraulic valve bodies
Fuel line fittings
Gas and air compression systems
Automotive and aerospace components
High-pressure fluid connectors
